Lost Traditions.org

Get back in touch with life skills

Come along for the ride. Mini adventures, to discover mountains, wild places & culinary dishes.

Detoxing from the trappings of the modern world - Because you are worth it.

In a time when modern society has lost it's way -

The Effortless Lifestyle that's taking its toll on each and everyone of us.

...We have not grasped the scale of the problem!

Overworked & financially over stretched

Has an effect on the body, the mind and the family structure.

Sooth this sickness and put the fire back into your heart

Disconnect from the rat race once in a while and reinvest time with family in the great outdoors. Experiences with memories from mini-adventures - Incentivise yourself and not from what the TV is telling you.

Being in nature stirs something deep inside us, we have inherited from our ancestors.

It feels like home, reconnecting to nature and we relearn to love this world.

Where the mountains meet the trees and the rivers and the seas gives us a new perspective and a feeling of peace.

In Your Life - How much time do you spend for yourself.

The simple question; Do you have time at the end of the day to reflect on your day?

You become more creative, elegant, spend more quality time with your family, your wife - Exactly like in nature.

Take a moment to count your blessings, you truly are resilient, and unstoppable - You made it this far for a greater reason, it's all within you.

The fast paced modern world means we are living in a chronic fight mode and having no time for being in recovery mode. We can change our priorities to what's more important in the long run, once we become aware of what we are doing to ourselves.

Reconnect to family, friends, community, the land and nature.

Each and everyone of us can heal our way back to a better place, by focusing on the positive in everything - With great thoughts... The creative and spiritual inspiration, to motivate ourselves and others.

As soon as you make the decision to work on yourself things align. I make any life change by having a Spring clean. This gets me into action and helps clear the mind. It's a new start and the first step forward. I then make a list of little things to do each day and long term jobs that need doing/finishing. Basically working on myself and taking action to move forward.

Once you have made that decision to take the first step; small doors shut and bigger ones open!

Next, remove those things that stress you in your working life. Going to a job you don’t like, commuting in traffic everyday, paying a car loan/lease to get to work, and working 50-60 hours a week just to pay for these things.

Nature provides everything we need; to eliminate waste and detoxify to repair and regenerate

Getting in-tune with nature; is to reset yourself and to start trusting in your gut feeling.

A metal balance through some of my personal ways to destress, that may help you on the right path.

  • Cycling, like walking... It feels good, it removes the stress from the body or you need to take medications.
  • Mineralize your body, by first removing junk foods/heavily processed foods, and eating whole foods, grown organically, and local in season.
  • Being outside, you get sunlight, walk barefoot and go for a swim in a river to re energise.
  • Staying hydrated with good quality water.
  • Taking time for yourself, being grateful and praying.

Look at all your options... Life is a journey we all travel - Live well healthily as nature intended, it will serve you well today and in your old age. Keep going and never give up.

Live to what's true to you" - Act accordingly.
