3 Day Hiking Trip Bocairent, Valencia
1. Bocairent
Here we walked around the lovely old town, visited Cava De Sant Blai and climbed inside the caves Covetes dels Moros to better know the history of the area. For lunch we went to the resturant Bar Ximo for a beef stew and house wine.
The afternoon we took the short drive to Pou Clar, 6 natural water pools surrounded by rocks.
2. Cim del Montcabrer
Day 2 we woke-up to a cold and fresh morning in the Serra Mariola Natural Park, we stayed at Camping Bungalows Mariola for 2 nights. We then hiked the four hours to the top of Cim del Montcabrer for the great views. It was a very windy day! We met a local lady with her dog, who joined us for most of the way.
3. Villajoyosa
Day 3 To Villajoyosa a colorful town, that is worth exploring. From here we walked the coast line to Benidorm and returned by train.
2 Day Hiking trip - Alicante Area
1. LES FONTS DE L'ALGAR
A short walk, with many tourists. But very beautiful and interesting start to the day
2. EL CASTELL DE GUADALEST
3. NATURAL PARK OF PENYAL D'IFAC
4 Day Hike South of Granada
1. LOS CAHORROS
A four hour return hike, we started anti-clockwise as we arrived in the afternoon and worked out great as we returned when it was dark and there was a lot of nice surprises along the trail
.
We stayed with friends in the small village of Nigüelas and had home made paella and hiked Vereda Nigüelas. We also walked up in the mountains collecting 'setas' mushrooms and cooked fresh when we arrived back home.
2. ERMITA DEL CRISTO DEL ZAPATO
Great view of the Sierra Nevada covered in snow

The world crisis we are all going though, will bring suffering and hard-times. This will bring a brilliant opportunity, from a good kick up the back-side to get people to work and build a better life. As we become in-tune of what's really important, we will not be able to rely on the health care system, people will have no choice but start to take care of themselves. Things will get better, but not the same as before, we will see less plastic rubbish being brought from China and more quality goods made locally.
